Pickleball Studio is a private AI-assisted video workspace. This notice explains how the Studio handles the information needed to create videos, connect a channel, and publish only when you explicitly approve an upload.

YouTube API Services

Pickleball Studio uses YouTube API Services to connect your channel, upload videos you approve, and retrieve upload and processing status. YouTube use is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy.

Information the Studio handles

The Studio processes the content you provide or create in the workspace, including video files, images, prompts, titles, captions, project settings, and publishing drafts. It also processes the minimum account and session information needed to protect access to the private workspace.

When you connect YouTube, the Studio receives only the permissions you approve through Google OAuth, currently channel information needed to identify your connected channel and permission to upload videos. OAuth credentials are kept server-side and are not exposed in the browser.

How information is used

Information is used only to provide the Studio features you request: creating and editing media, preparing publishing metadata, connecting your own channel, and completing a specific upload you approve. The Studio does not sell personal information or use Google API data for advertising.

Pickleball Studio's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Service providers

The Studio uses secure infrastructure and, when you select a feature, may send the minimum necessary content to providers that generate video, voice, sound, or publishing services. Google and YouTube process information according to their own policies, including Google's Privacy Policy.

YouTube account and upload data

When you authorize YouTube through Google, we access and store your channel ID and channel title, OAuth access and refresh tokens, authorization expiry and connection/verification dates. For uploads we store the selected channel, title, description, privacy setting, scheduled time, audience and altered-content declarations, video ID/link returned by YouTube, resumable upload address and upload/processing/privacy status. The app requests youtube.upload and youtube.readonly permissions. It does not request your Google password, Gmail, contacts or payment information.

This information identifies your channel, submits approved uploads, resumes interrupted transfers, avoids duplicate uploads while records are retained, and displays publishing status. YouTube connection and upload records are encrypted in server-side Vercel private Blob storage or the configured Supabase database. Browser responses exclude OAuth tokens. We do not send YouTube OAuth tokens or retrieved channel/status data to generative AI providers. AI captions and proposed posting times are Studio suggestions, not YouTube-provided recommendations or performance guarantees.

Cookies and device information

We store and access information on your browser/device. A secure HTTP-only session cookie maintains Studio sign-in for up to 30 days. Short-lived OAuth cookies protect connection flows; the YouTube connection cookie expires after 10 minutes. Local storage and browser databases retain editing settings, timelines, media references and generation history depending on the feature. Clearing website data removes local records and may sign you out; it does not delete cloud records.

Hosting providers may process IP addresses, browser information, request timestamps and error logs to deliver and secure the service. Third-party services you open or embed, including Google and Hugging Face, may receive device/browser information and use their own cookies or similar technologies. Restricting browser storage can prevent sign-in or embedded features from working. Free Motion Lab loads a community Hugging Face embed only when you load the demo; files selected there go directly to that service, not Studio storage. Review its privacy information before uploading.

YouTube data retention and refresh

A daily maintenance task checks connected YouTube authorization and refreshes stored channel information. The app also checks when the connection is accessed and its last verification is at least 24 hours old. Upload status is retrieved during upload completion and when you request a status check. Studio YouTube upload records, including returned IDs, links, resumable addresses and status, expire 29 days after creation and are deleted by daily maintenance or when accessed after expiry. This does not delete videos from YouTube.

If Google reports that authorization has been revoked or expired (invalid_grant), the app deletes the stored YouTube connection and upload records. Daily checks detect revocation through Google Account settings. If channel information cannot be refreshed, it is removed at the 29-day retention threshold. Deleted upload records lose their duplicate-upload protection: check YouTube Studio before uploading the same movie again.

Your choices, revocation and deletion

  1. In Astra Publish, select Disconnect & delete YouTube data and confirm. This blocks new YouTube uploads, deletes Studio YouTube upload records and channel information, and requests Google authorization revocation. Credentials are normally deleted immediately. If Google is temporarily unavailable, revocation is retried daily; pending credentials are retained only for that retry and removed within seven calendar days.
  2. You can also revoke access at Google Account third-party connections: select the Studio's connected app and remove access. Daily authorization checks remove associated stored YouTube data as soon as revocation is detected and no later than 30 calendar days after revocation.
  3. For other stored workspace information, or if you cannot sign in, email f.salous@hotmail.com with the subject “Data deletion request.” Identify your workspace/channel but do not send passwords or tokens. We verify ownership and delete applicable stored user data as soon as possible and within seven calendar days.

Deleting Studio data does not delete data held by YouTube. Manage or delete those videos in YouTube Studio. Already accepted or scheduled uploads may remain there. The YouTube deletion control does not delete original Studio media, AI drafts, Facebook/Instagram connections or posts. These remain until you use their available deletion controls or request deletion by email.

Security and changes

The Studio uses access controls and server-side credential handling designed to protect information. No internet service can promise absolute security. If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
